If the tech giant Apple has its way then with the next iOS update of 13.4, you can turn your iPhone into a car-key. Your car can be locked, unlocked and started with the help of your phone. It is proposed that the App will be active from Apple Wallet. It doesn’t end here, it can also be integrated with your iWatch.
You can also share the digital signature of the that Car-Key with someone else, allowing them to use your car. If reports are to be believed then this is in a beta phase as of now. It is unknown when the final phase would roll out.
As of now it isn’t confirmed as to with which cars will the app be integrated or with which ones it would work but rumour has it that it will definitely work great with more cars that the ones which are already existing. You just have to visit Apple’s support site and then book an appointment. As of now only Go Tech Services offer onsite repair of Apple phones.
Ofcourse this isn’t for free. On additional repair cost, there would be site visitation charges as well. Also, these services are limited to only 6 locations which include. Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
